I went to that Portfolio Day a few weeks ago but never told you about it. xD
Well I went and only visited two stations... We had a booklet that had different kinds of art and the colleges that support them. The first one we went to was under "Comics/Cartooning" (THAT IS ME!!) and the school was from California. I don't want to go to California. But I just wanted to get some feedback from a cartooning school since that's pretty much all I do.
The guy there loved it... he loved my drawings and everything. He went right on ahead and started filling out this paper for me if I wanted to apply there. He wrote really nice comments. I have the paper on my fridge right now! I can use that as like a resume. I was so proud!
Then we went to a station representing a really close-by college that was under "Animation". Now, I don't really know what their kind of animation they're talking about... but they absolutely hate me. The lady was so snotty and the guy was looking through my portfolios so fast and not even looking at them. She was like "do you draw anything else besides anime? Try something realistic." I Yeah I've been told that before but I really don't want to. Right now. Sadly their rudeness made me cry and we left right after that...
Another school was there from New York that we didn't see, speciallizing in Cartooning as well... I tool my SAT's that weekened and OH MY GOD THEY WERE HORRIBLE. I think I did bad. The California school doesn't care about your SAT scores though. But now that I've taken them, I have to make a list of at least 4 or 5 colleges I want to apply to. I have to do them all at once too. So if I want get a yes from all of them, I can choose which ever I want. Here's my list so far:

1. School of Visual Arts
2. Pratt Insitute
3. Manhattenville (maybe)
4.
5.

Yeah I haven't made a definite choice yet. I think I have to apply to them all before Febuary...
But anywho, I'll keep you all posted on my college stuff... if you want. I'm gonna update it anyways.
